Our mission is to continue to provide children of the Greater New Orleans Area, and beyond, a Mardi Gras experience they can share with their families and community in a fun and safe environment where they can just “be kids” and build special memories that will last a lifetime. Children in the Greater New Orleans Area see Mardi Gras parades each year and dream of being able to take part in them.  For many area youth, and especially the majority of economically and physically challenged, their dream of participating in such activities might never come true except for the mission of The Krewe of Little Rascals and sponsors that affords them the opportunity to have their dreams fulfilled. Numerous testimonials over the years about the positive, therapeutic, confidence building experience that our activities have provided to young people have challenged us to do even more. We know that all our kids, as well as sponsors and volunteers involved, are similarly benefited.
